What my clients say:
"As a female business owner, having the right support behind the scenes is everything. Jayde is friendly, helpful and reliable. She gets back to queries quickly and clear. Everything is handled with care and professionalism, and I know I'm in good hands."
- Alisha
"Before working with Jayde, my bookkeeping was an absolute shamble. I was fumbling my way through Xero and just hoping I was getting it right. Since she came on board, she’s streamlined everything - making sure it’s all accounted for, integrated, and tracking correctly behind the scenes. Jayde has gone above and beyond for me and my business. I’d 100% recommend her to any small business owner. Anyone lucky enough to have her guidance will feel the relief of reduced workload and stress."
- James
Having never run a small business before, and not too I.T savvy, we used Brown & Co bookkeeping services to help us navigate Xero and do our first BAS statement. Jayde was very helpful, no question was too "dumb" and she even made us check sheets so we could learn ourselves. Would highly recommend this company.
- Steven
Switched over after my previous bookkeeping felt pretty generic and it’s been a great decision. Everything’s now organised, clear and easy to stay on top of. Super easy to deal with, responsive, and takes a lot of stress off running the business. Highly recommend.
- Nathan

Bookkeeping
Stress-free bookkeeping to keep your business on track - whether you need day-to-day management, monthly updates, catch-up or clean-up.
I’ll handle transactions, receipts, bills, reconciliations, payroll (if needed), and reporting, so you always know exactly where your business stands. With accurate, up-to-date books, you can make confident decisions and avoid surprises at tax time.
BAS Services
(under supervision)
Accurate, stress-free BAS lodgement done on time - so you can meet your ATO obligations confidently, avoid last-minute panic, and focus on running your business.
I handle BAS and IAS preparation, GST coding, PAYG withholding, and liaise with your accountant if needed, ensuring your figures are correct and you’re claiming what you’re entitled to.
Payroll
Flexible payroll support to keep your team paid correctly and on time - without the stress.
I can handle payroll tasks from start to finish, including employee setup and onboarding, pay runs, super and leave tracking, STP lodgements, and payslips or EOFY reporting. Support blocks are flexible, so you choose what you need each month, freeing your time to focus on growing your business.
Catch Up Bookkeeping Services
Behind on your books? Let's get you current - no judgement, just results.
Whether it's been a few months or a few years, falling behind on bookkeeping happens to the best small business owners. My Catch Up Bookkeeping service gets your Xero file sorted, reconciled, and compliant - no stress, no lectures, just a clear path back to current.
Work is billed in prepaid blocks of hours, so you know exactly what you're paying upfront with no surprise invoices. Once you're caught up, you can decide whether to continue with ongoing support or take your tidy books and go.
(Not sure where things stand? Start with a Once-off File Health Check for a quick, affordable diagnosis before committing to a catch-up block.)
Frequently Asked Questions
I am not in Perth, can I still work with you?
Everything I do is 100% remote which means I can work with businesses all over Australia.
We’ll use secure cloud-based tools to share documents and files, and we’ll stay in touch by email, phone calls or video calls.
Working remotely means you don’t need to worry about office space or in-person catch-ups, I have secure systems in place so you can easily upload receipts and documents anytime.
If you’re local and prefer to meet face to face at the start, I’m happy to make that happen too.
How much does a bookkeeper cost?
My standard rate is $65 per hour for bookkeeping, BAS support and payroll.
How much support you need depends on your transaction volume, whether you have staff etc. Some clients need a light monthly tidy-up, others need 5–10+ hours a week of dedicated support - including payroll, reconciliations and reporting. We can discuss this in detail during your initial call.
I'm really behind on my books - can you help?
Yes - this is one of the most common reasons clients come to us. We run dedicated Catch-Up & Clean-Up projects for businesses that are anywhere from a few months to a few years behind. We'll get you back up to date and compliant again.
Can you lodge my BAS?
Yes, I prepare and lodge BAS under the supervision of a registered BAS agent, so you can feel confident your lodgements are accurate and compliant.
Do you work with businesses that have employees / payroll?
Yes - payroll management (pay runs, STP, super) is one of our core services, and we regularly bundle it with ongoing bookkeeping for businesses with growing teams.
Can you take over bookkeeping fully, so I never have to think about it?
Yes - that's exactly what our ongoing retainer clients get. Once onboarded, we manage reconciliations, coding, reporting and (if needed) payroll on a set weekly or fortnightly rhythm, so it's off your plate for good.
What does 'under supervision' mean?
In Australia, bookkeepers who want to become registered BAS Agents must complete a minimum number of hours lodging BAS under the supervision of an already registered BAS Agent, this is a Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) requirement to ensure every BAS Agent has real-world experience before they can apply independently.
While I already have the skills and qualifications to do the work, lodging your BAS under supervision helps me meet this official experience requirement, with the added benefit that you get an extra layer of quality assurance if needed. It doesn’t change how I deliver your work day-to-day, it’s simply part of meeting Australian industry standards for full BAS Agent registration.
